WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR TATA NANO???????????

The Tata Nano was a small car that was expected to deliver big numbers — the new plant at Sanand in Gujarat was built to produce 2.5 lakh units a year, eventually ramping up to 5 lakh units. But 15 months after a high-profile launch, it has encountered trouble at every turn — three instances of the car going up in flames and a few cases of smoke emanating from it (the last was in September), confusion about its positioning, a rather unexpected bunch of affluent initial buyers, poor distribution reach, and financing bottlenecks. Nano’s sales have dipped from 9,000 units in July to 3,000 in October to just a little over 500 in November.

“The car was positioned as an alternative to two-wheelers , but that’s not happening. Those looking to upgrade from two-wheelers are put off by the negative publicity (over the fires) and safety issues and buyers of the top-end Nano will rather put in a few thousand more and buy another car like the Alto

TIME TO SUGGEST SOME STRATEGIES

  1. "Kali Nazar Wale Tera Mouh Kala", written on the rear of very Indian (TatA) TrucK, while unvealinng the car in auto expo we could have use the above stated jargon in order to save our brand frm those "WhitE People's" eyes (bad one) :), well jokes apart, nano has loose its charm in terms of shape, performance, promise made by the company. I advise TaTas to start re-building the Nano brand once again. Hey why don't u people allow to senSe the making of u r car to the world at large, by opening u r factory gate. Let consumers know that it is friendly and easy going. Consider "Saturn Corporation". :)

  2. now Tata has to re-developed its car coze as per the promise of TATA, the car was not upto the mark......
it is looking like a tempo, the engine is on the back of car and when it start it will create a sound of tempo......
The Tyres of nano is same as Scooter(Bajaj), which are not upto that mark when we compare it with maruti 800 and Alto or Even SPARK......

    Look is Ok..OK..

    woh kehte hain na
    ki
    NAAM BADE AUR DHARSAN KHOTE...............

  3. This happen when you want to purchase gold in price of silver .idea was great but to maintain the lower price there was a huge compromise with quality . at first people were unaware of the bed effects of nano because this was new but as the time passes result in front of us
